Hazel Walker became Group Chief Executive Officer of Glenville Walker in 2016.

Since her appointment, she has driven transformative initiatives and significant growth, including the successful integration of Rees-Roberts Solicitors into the firms group structure. This merger has significantly strengthened the firm’s ability to support both new and existing clients with expert advice in commercial property services.

Hazel's vision is to position Glenville Walker as a market disruptor, breaking traditional legal moulds by providing bespoke, tailored advice. She fosters connections and collaborations with professionals across the North-west, ensuring that complex legal problems are transformed into simple, bespoke solutions.

As Group Chief Executive Officer, Hazel oversees strategic planning, organisational leadership, cultural development, brand strategy and stakeholder engagement. Her goal is to ensure the firm continues an upward trajectory, becoming the go-to specialist business advisors in the region.

Hazel's role as a non-legal manager of a complex and highly regulated law firm has evolved over time. She has developed extensive skills in practice management, corporate governance and legal compliance, serving as the firm’s financial compliance officer.

Passionate about Glenville Walker's well-established culture, Hazel champions a collaborative, fun, and supportive environment for all employees. She also values the firm’s long-standing, loyal relationships with clients with a strong commitment to providing quality, pragmatic legal advice.

With over 16 years of professional experience in operational and business management, as well as digital marketing strategy, Hazel is a senior member of the management board. She has held executive roles in the professional sector, as well as the maritime, logistics, and energy sectors across the Northwest since 2006. Her work with business lobbying agencies in Liverpool, Preston, and the Wirral showcases her multidisciplinary strategic management and technical knowledge, which are invaluable to the legal industry.

In her spare time, Hazel enjoys staying active with TRX strength training, Zumba classes, and snowboarding with her family. To unwind and de-stress, she indulges in interior design, restoration projects, and photography.
