Ruby joined Glenville Walker five years ago as a Legal Assistant. Since then, she has climbed through the ranks, qualifying as a solicitor in April 2024 and officially becoming part of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

Ruby is particularly proud of her journey to becoming a solicitor, having progressed within Glenville Walker despite starting with the firm before completing her degree.

Under the guidance of Michael Smeaton, Director and Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and Anna Salisbury, Partner, Ruby has gained exceptional training, knowledge, and experience. Now, as a qualified solicitor, she can take a more hands-on, personalised approach in advising clients and assisting them with their legal issues.

Ruby is a pragmatic, solution-driven professional who aligns perfectly with the firm’s values and approach to client service. She prioritises clients’ needs, ensuring their expectations are exceeded and providing round-the-clock support.

Ruby has experience in debt recovery, commercial litigation, and property litigation, including landlord and tenant issues. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge, skillset, and speciality. Glenville Walker is delighted to have been a major part of Ruby’s journey and can only see her becoming one of the top-rated litigators in the northwest and country.

In her spare time, Ruby enjoys binging horror movies and series, as well as booking last-minute, spontaneous city breaks with her husband, Ruel!
