Liverpool law firm Glenville Walker has advised Wild Thang on its acquisition of Partridge Peartree Promotions, a deal that strengthens the creative branded merchandise group's growth across the UK and Ireland.

Founded in Liverpool in 1996, Wild Thang is one of the UK and Ireland's leading independent

creative branded clothing, merchandise and print businesses, with operations spanning  Liverpool, Dublin, New Jersey and now Northern Ireland. The B Corp-certified business is among the most sustainable and accredited in its sector.

Established in 1988, Northern Ireland-based Partridge Peartree Promotions has built a strong  reputation for branded merchandise and creative solutions. The two family-run businesses share aligned values and bring together a combined 68 years of trading experience.

The acquisition supports Wild Thang's ambition to pass £10 million turnover this year and reach £20 million within three years, expanding the group's reach while retaining the trusted local team that Partridge Peartree's Northern Ireland clients know.

Glenville Walker's corporate team led the legal advice, working alongside financial advisers DSG. The firm's focus was to keep momentum throughout, align stakeholders and deliver clear, commercially focused advice that brought certainty to completion.

Denise Walker, Managing Partner and Head of Corporate at Glenville Walker, said:

"Wild Thang is exactly the kind of ambitious, owner-managed business we are built to support. This deal brings together two family businesses with shared values and a clear plan for growth.

“Our job was to keep the process moving, align everyone around the commercial goal and deliver advice that worked in practice, so the team could complete with confidence and focus on the future. We are delighted to have played our part and look forward to watching the combined

group go from strength to strength."

Andrew Dwerryhouse, Managing Director at Wild Thang, said:

“When two family businesses and teams with shared values, ethics and 68 years of knowledge come together you know it will be a match made in heaven.

“This partnership further strengthens our ability to deliver across Ireland and internationally. We cannot thank our partners Glenville Walker and DSG teams, who made the acquisition possible with their outstanding service, expert professional advice and guidance. We now have ambitious growth aspirations to reach £20 million over the next 3 years.”

John Howarth,  Global Supply & Contract at Director at Wild Thang, said:

"This is another special  milestone for Wild Thang and the team, and a major step forward in our growth across the UK and Ireland. Our thanks go to our legal advisers at Glenville Walker and the DSG team, whose support and guidance were instrumental throughout the acquisition. When two family businesses with shared values and decades of knowledge come together, we know we will build something exceptional."

Joanna Sproson Corporate Associate at Glenville Walker added;

“This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Wild Thang’s continued expansion and will further enhance their position in the Northern Ireland market. It was a pleasure to work with John and the rest of the Wild Thang team and to see first-hand the ambition and energy driving the brand. We worked seamlessly with Adam at DSG and A & L Goodbody who supported us on this transaction. It was a genuinely collaborative process from start to finish and a great deal to be a part of.”
