Glenville Walker and Partners are delighted to announce that Mark Williams, Associate in the corporate team has been promoted to Senior Associate as the firm continues to build for the future.
Over the past 5 years Glenville Walker and Partners has gained a national presence in the market for delivering specialist business advise in corporate, commercial, intellectual property, litigation, employment law, family law and property law with an expert team that helps solve all business focused legal issues. Mark’s promotion at the firm strengthens the firm’s ability to handle the growing number of corporate transactions being generated from within the firm’s innovative client base.
Mark Williams deals with all aspects of corporate law, commercial law, and intellectual property, ranging from mergers and acquisitions, advising shareholders and drafting shareholder agreements, advising investors on the terms of investment agreements, and dealing with corporate insolvency work. He has a wealth of experience of working with telecommunication businesses, the hospitality industry, bespoke furniture retailers and clients growing a portfolio of care homes.
Prior to joining the team, Mark used his entrepreneurial acumen by owning his own business and studied Business Management at the University of Liverpool. After discussing with friends how they had found making the transition from other careers into the law Mark undertook work experience at different firms and decided to change career. In 2012, Mark graduated from the College of Law and in 2014 started his training contract. Mark worked for other law firms in the North West before joining Glenville Walker and Partners in 2020. From the outset Mark was drawn to the firm’s powerful reputation in the corporate field and that Denise Walker, Head of Business Law, was leading the team into its next phase of growth.
Mark is a dedicated member of the team who goes above and beyond for clients and has gone from strength to strength since joining the team. Collectively we are overjoyed that he has accepted the position of Senior Associate and look forward to seeing what is next for Mark.
Denise Walker, Managing Director and Head of Business Law commented “Mark is a real asset to our business who creates strong relationships with clients and his life skills are a real enhancement to our offering.”
