Daniel Curtin joined the team at Glenville Walker in 2026 as an Associate Litigation Solicitor.
Daniel brings hands on experience of running complex, high-value commercial disputes, including debt recovery, personal and corporate insolvency, and contentious enforcement work. He trained and qualified at Greenhalgh Kerr, where he progressed from paralegal through to Litigation Solicitor and managed a substantial caseload of over 150 active files. He completed his LLB at Liverpool John Moores University and went on to achieve his LPC with Masters with distinction at LJMU, with distinctions in Commercial Property, Private Client and Employment Law.
Daniel’s approach is calm, commercial and solutions driven. He aims to mediate where possible and brings a pragmatic eye to every matter, focussed on the right outcome for the client rather than the loudest one. That mindset, combined with his commitment to plain English advice, aligns naturally with the way Glenville Walker works.
His experience spans drafting and issuing bankruptcy and winding-up petitions, Part 7 and Part 8 claims, charging order applications and settlement agreements, as well as advising on enforcement strategy and acting as advocate at bankruptcy and return of goods hearings. Daniel has also supported the training and supervision of junior fee earners and worked closely with counsel to secure strong outcomes on contested matters.
Outside the office, Daniel is a former senior elite Merseyside & Cheshire amateur boxing champion at middleweight, having competed in more than 45 bouts and represented the regional squad internationally. He credits boxing with shaping his work ethic and competitive mindset, and remains a committed gym-goer, runner and Liverpool socialiser in his downtime.
